The Rules on our server !

Server Rules


1. Have fun!

2. Respect ALL players on our servers.

This includes admin, members, regular players as well as guest. Disrespect will NOT be tolerated.


3. No spawn killing.

A capturable is fair game until the next level has been achieved
i. Example – Oasis – Fair game until the old town wall is blown then off limits

If someone decides to setup a mortar in the spawn then the entire spawn becomes fair game.


4. No Spawn camping

This rule is viewed differently by just about everyone. Spawn Camping is waiting outside of the other spawn to kill them as they leave the "non-capturable" spawn. If there is more than 1 exit that doesn't lead to the same place, then it is not considered Spawn Camping (ex. Goldrush 2nd Axis Spawn). If there is more than 1 exit then 1 can be camped with the exception of shooting, grenade, panzer etc... INTO the spawn. Arty to one exit is OK as long as the other exits do not lead to the same place. If there are any questions about what is Spawn Camping ask an admin.


5. No foul language.

The server will automatically detect swear words and the player will lose xp. Admins may also mute you for some minutes. You will know to watch your language next time. If an admin thinks your swearing was a completely honest, harmless mistake, they may un-mute you, but not if you ask them to.


Mis-spelling words to avoid the swear filter will result in you being muted, and we will make sure it last more than 5 minutes. This includes abbreviations!


6. No Griefing.

Griefing is doing things simply to annoy your teammates. The main example of this is running on their landmines, as you know they won't hurt you. Other ones might be blocking people purposely in doors, getting in the way of panzer/mortar shots, constantly knifing teammates to distract them etc. Just have some respect for other players and this won’t be a problem.


7. Don't spam the game with text or voice.

Don't annoy your fellow players calling for a medic or ammo over a couple of times.

Don’t continually tell other players how to play etc.


8. Names / Tags

Don’t change names after you enter the game.

Don't fake nick the name of any other players on the server or anyone connected with our clan (this will get you banned immediately).

There is no need to use an offensive player name and it will result in your being banned from all our servers. Some names are disallowed by default; attempts to get around these and use similar inappropriate names will also result in you being banned.

Don’t wear our tags UNLESS you are a member. Registering for the forum or asking for membership DOES NOT give you the right to wear our tag. You MUST be approved.


9. Keep the teams balanced

Try to make the games fun for everyone and switch teams if needed.. NO TEAM STACKING! If teams get unbalanced it will be up to the =[SF]= members to swap teams to ensure fair play!

Fair play won't hurt you and will make it more fun for the others, too


10. *** OTHER CLANS ***

No Team stacking, we know you want to play with your buds, and as long as teams are fair, it is fine. If teams get out of balance, other clans are the first to dismantle.

You would think this would go without saying, but obviously not, DO NOT RECRUIT ON OUR SERVER! If we catch or even hear of any other team or clan recruiting players on our server, you will be banned immediately without question.


11. NO ADVERTISING ON OUR SERVER OR FORUMS!

NO POSTING IP'S of any kind. NO ADVERTISING OF ANY KIND (websites, etc...)


12. NO CHEATING / WALLHACKS / AIMBOTS / ETC.

If you are caught you WILL be BANNED – Including Members!

Just because someone is better than you DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE CHEATING!!!! If you have PROOF and know for fact that someone is cheating, notify an admin, post it on the website or contact CMG


13. Play well with your teammates

DON’T blatantly run over your teammates mines and or push engineers out of the way so you can plant your own or get the build


14. Team Work

The game is about teamwork NOT individual skills. It really doesn’t matter how many kills or headshots someone gets. If the objectives of the maps are not completed you still lose. It is better to have 5 kills and your team win than have 50 kills and your team lose.


15. No Trick jumping to obtain an objective.

This means using any sort of jump to get past an objective or complete an object, etc. a gate which would normally need to be blown up, etc.
i. Example – Oasis – You cannot jump over the old town wall to go plant.


16. No [BOT] Tag in your name

- No point in this and it sometimes causes confusion with GUID.

I don't mean to be a smartass, but how are the players supposed to ask the admins anything if they're muted?

well it means that when you get muted on the server , you ask a friend on msn or xfire to say on the ET server to unmute the guy who was muted !
